How Documents Are Processed

Documents are securely processed on AWS servers. All data is encrypted and protected during transmission and storage.

Indexing Data

Indexing data that makes document content searchable is processed as follows:

Text Extraction

Extracts text from documents and transforms it into a searchable format

Encrypted Storage

Transformed index data is stored encrypted
Indexing data is not used for AI model training.

AI Response Generation

When answering questions:

Text Fragments Sent

Text fragments from relevant documents are sent to the AI model.

Answer Generated

AI generates and returns an answer.

Data Not Stored

Transmitted data is not stored after answer generation.

Not Used for AI Training

Your documents are not used to train Wissly or AI models. Under the Google Vertex AI terms Wissly uses, customer data is contractually guaranteed not to be used to train foundation models. Document content is used only to answer your questions.
